DAY 1:
LECTURE/DISCUSSION
Overview of History of Dental Implants from Inception to Present Day.
Classification of Bone, Bone Density, and Available Bone.
Various types of Implants and their indications.
Factors affecting wound healing, crown to implant ratio, and bone to implant interface.
Medical evaluation.
Rules of loading, including progressive loading.
View sterile techniques.
LIVE SURGERY (Over the shoulder)
View a surgical case, step by step, including live sterile set-up techniques, surgical
placement of Implant(s), and suturing techniques.
HANDS ON WORKSHOP ... "See, Touch, Learn"
After viewing the surgery, you will apply the skills and principles demonstrated in a
'surgical workshop'. You will place implants into a plastic Mandibular Arch model.
DISCUSSION
View various implant cases (Step by Step) with digital photos and video presentations.

DAY 2:
LIVE PROSTHETICS
View live prosthetics stage on patients, where you will learn the techniques of transfer
impressions, abutment selection, placing of abutments, preparation of abutments, and
insertion of final prosthesis.
DISCUSSION
Overview of the Rules of Implant Placement and Loading.

* Because our Courses offer live surgery and prosthetics, it is sometimes necessary to vary
