DENTAL IMPLANT COURSES:
Welcome to the Implant Smile Center website, dedicated to the study and advancement of Dental Implants for tooth
replacement. At the Implant Smile Center Dental Implant Teaching Facility, our highly trained staff will guide you through
a "Hands-on" approach to the art, science, and techniques of Implant procedures, with Break-out Sessions, Hands-on
Workshops, Live Surgeries, and Custom Designed Courses.

Dental Implant Organization Awards:
Dr. Leigh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral
Implantology / Implant Dentistry, a Fellow of the American
Academy of Implant Dentistry, and a Diplomate of the
International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
He is a Graduate of the Medical College of Georgia/AAID Maxi-Course in Implant Dentistry and a Graduate of the Midwest Implant Institute. He is Founder of the Rocky Mountain Implant Study Group, and a founding member of the AAID Speaker's Guild. Dr Leigh is the Director of the Implant Smile Center, a surgical and teaching facility for Dental Implants, Implant Reconstructive and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Leigh Graduated as a General Dentist from the University of Western Ontario Dental School in 1975 where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and, shortly after, began placing and restoring dental implants. Since then, he has limited his practice exclusively to Dental Implantology, and Implant Cosmetic Dentistry, and performs both the Surgical and Prosthetic Phases of Implant Dentistry at all levels of difficulty.

The Courses are designed to meet the needs of those who are in the initiation phase of Dental Implants, as well as those who are advanced in the procedures, and are seeking a higher degree of expertise and skill in specific areas of implant surgery. The Implant Smile Center Dental Implant Teaching Facility is a complete PACE Approved learning environment for the relevant and recent advancements in the field of Dental Implants.

Dr. Leigh has been consistently praised for his thorough, detailed, and methodical teaching approach. Yet his calm and easygoing demeanor, even under the most difficult surgical procedures, demonstrates his confidence and expertise in the field of implant dentistry. The courses he offers are designed in a logical, practical, and step-by-step manner. Purposefully, the Courses are limited to a smaller number of individuals, in order that attendees have a more personalized learning experience. Group, or individual-client "custom-tailored", surgical and prosthetic training programs are available, as well as 5 and 10 day mini-residency courses. Custom-tailored Courses are also available on request.
The Courses feature live surgery with our patients; or, if you prefer, with one of your patients. Dr. Leigh and the
Staff at the Implant Smile Center Teaching Facility will guide you through every aspect of the Implant procedure, including marketing, implant/restorative complications problem solving, clinical digital photography and record keeping, transfer impression techniques and overdenture attachments, advanced bone grafting procedures, and implant prosthetic techniques.
Our Professional Team is committed to ongoing education in the advancement of skills, understanding, and outstanding patient care. All of the members of the Surgical Team are Registered Dental Assistants (R.D.A.) Level II, and are members of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management (an affiliate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists).

You will learn methods that will help you to ensure more predictable results, higher success rates, and
increased profits, while providing your patients with outstanding care and viable alternatives for their dental
needs.

At present, Dental Implantology is not a 'Specialty' Field recognized by the CDA (Canadian Dental Association) or the Alberta Dental Association & College (ADA&C). There are NO DENTAL IMPLANT "SPECIALISTS" IN CANADA, or the UNITED STATES. Although Dr. Leigh is not a Dental Implant "Specialist", his practice is devoted exclusively to Dental Implant Placement and Restoration. He has been both placing and restoring Dental Implants successfully for more than 25 years.
